The strings sound and feel great

I am actually using the thickest 5 strings from the set, and Using them on a cheap 24 inch scale children's P-Bass. These strings are for basses with a scale length of 23.5 inches. They just barely clear the nut on the 24 inch scale bass. If you are intending on putting them on a 24 inch scale bass, then the bridge used could be the difference between them working for you, and not working for you. Ostensibly, the 4 strings I am using are intended to be tuned BEAD. My intent was to tune up to C-standard CFBbEb. While usable in this tuning, I found that the tension and sound were best at D standard, followed by C# standard, which is great if you are a fan of old school Sabbath.
