For our Kala Revelator™ USA Ukulele String Set, we’ve teamed up with two of the best of the best — Worth Ukulele Strings and D’Addario Strings. We are employing a non-traditional string set up to optimize the tone and projection of the Revelator by using two Worth Brown Fluorocarbon strings for the E and A. The G and C use two D’Addario silver plated copper wound strings with Denier Nylon cores. The sound of the 100% fluorocarbon brown strings can be described as warm, mellow, and astonishingly clear. They have a clean, natural sustain and plenty of projection. The silver plated copper wound strings on the G and C give a full presence and volume in the low end of the instrument. This magical combination of strings brings out the best of the tone possibilities of The Revelator.
Worth Ukulele Strings is a Japanese company that is well known for their fluorocarbon string material that enhances intonation, note clarity, and sustain. | D’Addario is one of the leaders in string technology and we have found their wound strings are some of the best around for Ukulele and especially for The Revelator.

I got a bargain on a mahogany tenor online, but it sounded like a cardboard box. I bought a set of revelator strings for it, and it really improved the sound and play.

I installed these to my Kala Solid Acacia Tenor. The tonal range and color is phenomenal! The strings are very responsive. And the sustain, oohhh the sustain goes on forever. These strings are a different gauge (thickness) than what you likely have now, so I suggest you get the strings professionally installed to be sure your nut is properly adjusted.

I purchased three sets of these strings after I bought the new
Metropolitan Deluxe Ukulele, which comes with these strings.
I was so impressed that I bought these sets for some of my other tenors.
This is a great set of strings. The most impressive thing about them is the wonderful Wound C and G. And what’s interesting about them, in addition to the impressive sound, is that these wound strings are thinner than the usual round Uke strings which means no need to file the nut to fit a thicker string as is sometimes the case with other wound strings.

I have these on my Kala revelator nautilus. I love the sound. The wounded Low G and C makes this a unique
sounding ukulele. I will definitely buy these strings again.

I bought a backup set of Low G Revelator USA strings for my Premium Korina Tenor Revelator. Kala states:

—And I believe them. They sound great on this tenor. Plenty of volume. Very good sustain. With very good note separation. Both the wound G & C strings and the plain E & A string are easy on the fingers. They work well for both strumming and finger style playing.
I'm not usually too enamored with the strings that come with most "factory" made tenors. But these seem to be perfectly matched to the amazing USA Revelator.
