Well, it's made from thick laminate and the sound is a little plain and soft, but it's adorable, and the price is right. It's nice enough that it doesn't fight me and I love the beetle pattern and colors.
Mine's hanging out on my wall, where the laminate can tolerate any temperature or humidity level my house throws at it, and then occasionally comes down for a little playing when I'm too lazy to pull out the good uke. Good for anyone who likes ukuleles and bugs. Which is a slightly specialized demographic, but we're out there.

This is so cute but for some reason (size I guess - it is small) it is not very comfortable to play. My daughter got a different style Uke and I prefer hers so much more, but she will never give it up for me to play. haha! Gues I will have to order another.
