Sounds good. Where the fretboard attaches to the body, looks like a sliver was missing and there is a slight gap, can put my finger nail in. Does not effect sound, just not “ pretty”. Steve.

I’m a little in shock at this instrument. I bought it because I read that a few people found its unique design to be exceptionally comfortable. This is completely true. This is one of the loveliest ukuleles to hold.
However, what is shocking is the sustain and resonance of this instrument. I have ukuleles that cost many times more than this and it plays with the best of them.
There is something special about the way this instrument was designed that really works. I tried a few different string sets and settled on a low G set that is just great.
This is an unsung instrument that players need to try.

I really love the simple elegance of this uke. The workmanship is excellent, and it plays and sounds great. I normally play low g, but it sounded so good as strung, that I decided to keep it in high g for now. So it has inspired me to explore new repertoire!
I'm also pleased with the playability. The nut width is 36.5 mm but the string spacing doesn't feel cramped.

This is what one of the most comfortable ukulele to play. The rounded edges and natural finish really make it enjoyable. And it has a wonderful mellow sound.
