Where are people getting together to play the ukulele!?

I came to a realization after playing the ukulele for 10 years, that I had actually never once played the uke with another ukulele player! Uke Society was founded to help uke people find other uke people from around the world, with a focus on local connections.

Through Uke Society, one can easily attend or create a uke event and make new friends and share songs within their community. They also have the ability to check out fun events from around the world!

Ukulele is a very social instrument. There's this energy that brings a lot of peace and joy whenever ukulele players come together to make music. Connect with a uke community, whether that'd be virtual or in person. Regardless of your skill level, you're bound to learn something special. I always do!

Tip for Beginners

Generally I prefer the sound of a uke strung with a high "G" over one with a low "G". However there are just those certain songs and arrangements for which I feel that a low "G" tells a much more compelling and interesting story.
