Kala Artist

Tyler Joseph was born in Columbus, OH, the eldest of four siblings. Tyler is a founding member of Grammy-nominated band Twenty One Pilots. Formed in 2009, the current lineup of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun has been together since 2011. After self-releasing two albums prior to Josh joining, the duo signed to Fueled by Ramen and have since released a multitude of platinum-selling albums.

Twenty One Pilots continue to write, record, and tour the world. Tyler can be seen playing his go-to performance ukulele -- the Kala Hawaiian Koa Tenor Cutaway -- in many live videos since 2015, and also owns a custom ukulele built by the Kala build team for his personal collection.
