Doghair mahogany finishing process
The Honduran Mahogany is given a thin finish or color spray to fill the grains and magnify the natural pattern of the wood. The process gives the ukulele a classic look inspired by vintage guitars.

Made with the same dedication and specifications as the Koa Collection, the Doghair Collection are also handmade at the Kala Shop. A very stable and workable wood, the Honduran Mahogany imparts a vintage appearance. These ukulele look and sound incredible.
