Philip Bynoe

Philip Bynoe was born to a musical family in Malden, Massachusetts. Philip and his father are both bassists, and his mother is a cellist. He graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 1981, and after college played in the Rick Berlin Band with Mike Mangini from Dream Theater. This led to an audition with Steve Vai, who he has since recorded multiple albums and been on several world tours with. He has been nominated for an Emmy award and three Grammy awards, and also worked with Slash, Ring of Fire, and Kevin Eubanks. Philip joined Warlord in 2013 and has also released children's albums with PB & Deb and Jambo. He continues to write, record, and perform.
