The Archtop line has a classic jazzy look that is embellished with stylish F-holes. Inspired by authentic vintage styled guitars, we’ve turned our favorite concepts into beautiful ukuleles. One of many factors that sets our Archtops above all other F-hole style ukuleles on the market is in fact the arched top. Originally, a key feature of violin and now guitar and mandolin, an archtop instrument is a work of art. Not only does it take a skilled luthier to create, but it makes a louder punchier instrument. We’ve taken time and care to create the most authentic and superior ukulele of its kind.

    My new beauty "Nadine"

I love both the look and sound of my new Kala tenor. It surpassed my expectations, so pretty, great sound either plugged in or acoustic, and if there is a "blem" somewhere, I can't find it.

    Wish there were more stars!

I play professionally, and I cannot say enough good things! First, minor blemish on the back of the headstock, so no harm to the front. It stays in tune, excellent precise internal tuner. One reviewer stated the volume was low if played acoustically, that is true, but as I have a band an always amplified, that was not an issue for me. It has a beautiful rich and full sound, and looks-wise, is so cool. Plus, the customer service I received from Ashton H was top-notch. Although slightly out of tune when I got it (expected that) it was playable right out of the box. All I can say is get one!!!

    My new ukulele.

Not sure where the blemish was but I enjoy the uke. It felt like the string tension was pretty stiff. I cannot bend the strings while playing and have to slide up to whatever fret I was trying to bend to. ( I have arthritic hands so that is part of the problem) Overall I am very pleased with the uke and have fun playing it.

Thanks have a great day. Lowell R. Oyster

Interesting Design but I Like It

This ukulele is sort of a mixture of styles. It is definitely an archtop but it is not a typical archtop. It is laminate which is fine for cost control. The bridge is a standard ukulele style but not what is often seen on archtops. None of that really matters but people who know other archtops may find it surprising. At first, I thought the sound was not very loud but the more I played it the less that seemed to be an issue. I have really enjoyed hooking this one up to an amp so loudness really ceases to be an issue. Here is the bottom line. I really enjoy playing this thing and I play it all the time. It is just plain fun. I am really glad I purchased this ukulele.
