Love it!
I play the upright bass, but I live in a dorm so I don't have space for it. This bass ukulele is great. The built in tuner is incredibly useful.

This right here is the gateway to the U-BASS. Though I highly recommend this product, I also urge you to upsell yourself right now on a higher price point model. I couldn't put this BASS down until I put the higher price point model in my hands. So while this gateway BASS will NOT disappoint... I urge you to max out your budget on your U-BASS. You won't regret it!
I thought my ubass was broken, and they advanced me another one right away. I eventually was lead to find out these basses dont work with balanced cables and the whole situation was handled gracefully. Plus I love my little ubass! Seemed like something that would be a gimmick but has become one of my favorite instruments. 10/10 GET ONE IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE
I have several Ike’s and guitars but never ventured into bass. This bass is great! I’m having a lot of fun with it.
Excellent quality and set up very well. Very playable right out of the box.
I'm a 36 year old that decided how to learn to play the guitar during the pandemic. I take zoom lessons with my ten year old and it has been really fun. Some of the songs we are learning have bass sections and we've been curious about getting a bass and playing them in the right instrument.
A musician friend recommended we got an electric-acoustic ukelele bass because it is easy to handle and is a great introduction to the bass world. After some research, all fingers pointed to Kala. Top-notch products made here by wonderful people. So I invested in a Nomad!
IT IS AMAZING!!! The rubber strings are great for our sore fingers (nobody told me learning guitar would be physically hurtful). Sounds great on its own but it is also really fun to plug it in and crank the volume up. 100% would recommend!!!
