I ordered it because it is different. I have too many ukuleles already but I had to try it. I ordered a blemished at a slightly reduced price. It arrived on time in a well protected shipping box. If the enclosed note had not told me where to look I probably would never notice the slight painting error. Very minor. The instrument is fantastic and makes you smile. The tone is very good for a soprano size and the tuning pegs are solid. It’s fun to play. If you walk into a room carrying this watermelon everyone stops and smiles. Kids will run over to see if and some adults also.
This is the best way to attract small children to learn the joy of music. It’s fun, it’s the right size, and it’s easy to learn 2 or 3 chords quickly. Every ukulele fan should have one or at least one of the “fruit” decorated ukuleles. . I fully recommend this to all ages. I’ll probably order one of the others myself. The cost is very reasonable! The only downside is for those of us with large hands to play all chords since there just isn’t room on the frets for our fingers. That does make us a little more creative with song modifications.
