Solid Body Uke’s are a game changer!
I have now been playing a ukulele for three solid years now and love it. My first ukulele was also a Kala, a beautiful spruce top tenor. But when I got to “Plug in!”, my Uke is a now a Telecaster and I’m channeling my inner Peter Townsend, what fun!
It is a solid, well made instrument, beautiful ebony tiger stripes and sounds surprisingly good unplugged.
I have a small Spark Go amp that connects to my phone and makes the Ukulele sound incredible.
About the only negative I could think of would be the lack of a front strap button already installed, I mean the rear button is on the plug already there and the uneasy feeling of drilling into my brand new Ukulele is a bit nerve racking, but I prevailed.
I couldn’t say enough nice things about the ukulele or the Kala brand , great instruments, nice people!
