I saw one of these straps in a Music Store in town so I knew the quality before I ordered it. It is well constructed, the fabric is so smooth to the touch, it is adjustable, wide enough (1 1/2”) not to cut into my shoulder, and has genuine leather ends.
It took me quite awhile to decide on which print. I toyed with the colorful bird of paradise vs the brown tapa that would match the browns in my baritone uke. Then I decided to take a chance on navy tapa, because I liked the fabric print design better than the brown, and while it’s subtle, it still has color (blue is my favorite color) yet won’t clash with any outfit.
It was very pricey, but I wanted leather ends, not pl-eather. I like that it is made in America by a one woman company. My uke only has one button, so I have to tie the other end to the headstock. I knocked it down one star because it doesn’t come with a buttoned headstock bracelet for that purpose, which would look and work better. Kala doesn’t offer them, either.
