I fixed this for the lefty.

This fix was not easy.

It would have been better if it was universal design.

A bit work need for flat wound

The best solution for metal strings.

Sound is much greater than original wooden nut.

also precise enough for perfect fitting on my ubass with less work.

I used it for my flat wound but the gauge is a bit different from the round wound.

I need some work to widen the groove of G-string and E-string.

Good

The right notch sizes for Thundergut Red strings, but I had to sand it down a bit to fit it in the nut slot on my U-Bass.

Flatwound Conversion 2

Well made and string grooves were pre-cut, so with minimal effort, I was able to remove the original nut and, with a tiny dab of glue, put the new nut in place. I added a small piece of metal to reinforce for the additional string tension.
