This uke is simply gorgeous. The fit and finish is near perfect. I prefer the sound of Mahogany and although it's not as flashy as Koa or Acacia the book matched top and solid back are superb. The sound is wonderful. Full and warm with lots of sustain and great strummed or fingerpicked. The stock strings sounded pretty dead to me so I changed them out for a Strings by Mail low G Custom set. Boy, what a huge difference in sound!. I'm coming from using a Romero Grand Tenor and this uke leaves me not wanting for more. What an incredible buy for the money! Very highly recommended.
