A new Americana addition for 2022, this model delivers the same "banjolele" charm at a lower price point, with a more overtly rustic look than its Black Maple counterpart. With a twangy tone, mellowed by its nylon strings, this Kala banjolele design is outfitted with a Remo Weatherking® Banjo Head, Natural Mahogany back & sides, a floating bridge, and a custom Banjolele Gig Bag.

Received the banjo ukulele very fast, like the sound. Plays great. Goes along with my other 12 ukuleles.
I also have a Kala cutaway tenor with equilizer like I play a lot. I belong to a group I started called TUG.
Tarrant Ukulele Group. I also sold them on the Kala tuner with the recharge feature. Thanks for a great line

I have another nice banjo concert ukulele that I have fitted up with a wrist guard and pickup but thought I would try this instrument without the additions. Fit and finish are both good. Even with the resonator back on the instrument, sound projection is good. Bottom line...I like it as is.
