The Natural Mahogany Banjo Concert Ukulele is a creative application of some of the banjo’s beloved characteristics, in true ukulele form!

A new Americana addition for 2022, this model delivers the same "banjolele" charm at a lower price point, with a more overtly rustic look than its Black Maple counterpart. With a twangy tone, mellowed by its nylon strings, this Kala banjolele design is outfitted with a Remo Weatherking® Banjo Head, Natural Mahogany back & sides, a floating bridge, and a custom Banjolele Gig Bag.

    Good intro level instrument

Overall I'm pretty happy with it for my first banjolele. There are a couple minor quality issues that reflect the lower price tag. Namely the tuning pegs aren't the most responsive and tend to slip out of tune after a good play session. Not too bad, but definitely more than my other uke. I would recommend this to anyone as a solid budget option for their first banjolele

My sister bought me the travel soprano uke. I fell in love with the sound. Then I bought the electric tenor version. I now own a banjolele. I am loving all of these fantastic instruments. Thank You Kala for the wonderful sounds.

    Love my new uke!

I am enjoying my new instrument and love the sound, but I'm not sure what, if anything I should be doing with the metal clamps that hold the head to the uke body. I see that Kala will be at the Allegheny Ukulele Soiree April 26- 28. I will be attending and will bring that uke with me. I hope to meet with you there.
