Duke Tatom

Robert Duke Tatom is a ukulele player from the Big Island of Hawaii. Duke plays ukulele for Nā Hōkū Hanohano and Grammy-nominated band Kahulanui. He and Kahulanui’s bandleader, Lena Naipo, had performed together for 15 years prior to forming Kahulanui. Known for their upbeat Hawaiian Big Band Swing, their first album - Hula Ku’i - was released in 2012 on Palm Records, for which they received a Grammy nomination and three Nā Hōkū Hanohano nominations. An EP - From Hawaii to New York - followed in 2015, earning them two more Nā Hōkū Hanohano nominations. Duke has also recorded and performed with Maluhia. He continues to write, record, and perform today.
