Emily Arrow

Based in Los Angeles, CA, Emily Arrow is an Elementary Music Teacher, award-winning songwriter, and author whose students learn ukulele every year as part of her joyful classroom practice. A Berklee College of Music graduate and Orff-Schulwerk certified educator, she will complete her Master’s in Music Education at Longy School of Music in May 2026. Emily has published several books for children (Kids’ Guide to Learning the Ukulele, Kids’ Ukulele Songbook, Studio: A Place for Art to Start, and Dear Bookstore), created the Audible Original Emily Arrow’s Story Bike, and worked for over a decade in children’s media as a writer, producer, and show developer. Her work has been recognized with multiple honors including the John Lennon Songwriting Award, the National Parenting Product Award, and the Parents’ Choice Gold Award. Through her YouTube channel of book-inspired songs and her ongoing performances, recordings, and teaching, Emily continues to inspire young learners to strum their first chords, discover their voices, and fall in love with music and reading.
