Kaleo Wassman

Kailua-Kona born and raised, Kaleo Wassman is one of reggae-rock's most beloved musicians, songwriters and collaborators. Best known as a founding member of the internationally known band Pepper, Kaleo has also worked with as a studio collaborator and producer for artists like Dirty Heads, Slightly Stoopid, The Green, Henry Fong, and Stick Figure. Off-stage, Kaleo is a vocal wellness advocate through yoga, healthy eating, and holistic living alongside his partner Melanie. The two offer yoga workshops, retreats, and manage a podcast through their lifestyle brand Rebel & Muse. In 2020, Kaleo returned to his ukulele roots by offering his own twist on vocal, songwriting and ukulele lessons with his Kala ukes through Live Lesson Masters. On and off stage, Kaleo is a firm believer in the ukulele as one of the greatest ways to feel and express a joy for life.
