This is my new favorite ukulele.
I purchased the blemished model and the blemish is barely visable.
The ukulele is strikingly beautiful visually and sonically.
I had it converted by Kala to left handed with the strings I prefer which are the Low G Aquila Red set. I like the feel of these strings as well as how they sound on the ukulele.
Having Kala restring the uke to left handed meant I could start playing immediately.
I am very pleased with this purchase and with the quality customer service Kala provides.

I purchased this uke at the end-of-year clearance sale, because I liked the appearance of the wood, and I read a review online that gave it a good rating. I ordered one that said BLEM (i.e., it would have dome blemish on it) and when it arrived, I had a hard time teying to locate any defects, but then I found a tiny indent on the back of the headstock- nothing to be concerned about. The uke looked better in-person than on the website. And it plays and sounds very good, so I’m happy with the purchase! 👍

It's really beautiful and the sound is great, too. I think it has plenty of volume and clarity. I had a low G string installed and the lower notes sound great on this instrument. I love it.

Just an excellent playing value. High quality for the price.
