Really nice little instrument, love the bamboo, good sound and intonation. The only thing that bothers me about the build is the bridge was somewhat frayed at the one side from the string tension causing the grain to lift (a more gentle transition from the tie bar to the outer wings would prevent this) and one tuner was screwed down crooked on the peghead. Still functional but just unnecessary sloppyness at any price. The overall quality of the instrument deserved better. Still, I love my little bamboo Kala.

I got to play it last weekend! What a great mellow sound! Perfect for ukulele songs especially. It is beautiful and has a good weight. Quality workmanship as usual! If you feel like you need to hear it to decide if you want one, you don't. It sounds amazing. You will love it.
