I have wanted a Koa wood ukulele for a couple of years, and the Kala Koa Concert w/ EQ delivered the rich sound I was hoping for. I was torn between a tenor and the concert. I have a Kala Tenor already so I chose the concert and I am pleased with the quality and depth of the tone. The concert has a high G string and it takes some getting used to it. My tenor has a low G and it has a different tonal range. I plan to be playing this at my next gig in October, so plenty of time to practice with it.

As advertised. I got it and played it in a performance for about 300 a few days later. Everything worked group, nice sound what you would expect from Koa.
