I have 50 ukuleles some are worth upwards of $2,000 and several Kala including a Revelator Night Owl. Kala has been in my collection for some time sopranos, concerts, tenors and UBass'.
It's also very very well appointed, the trim, accent details, there wasn't a flaw to be found.
I recently acquired some Aquila Bionylon Low G strings and decided to bit the bullet and see who they worked on a concert and picked this one to be the test mule. I have to say that one action took a very decent concertsand turned it into a one of the best sounding ukuleles I own. The resonance, sustain and tone are OUTSTANDING!
This ukulele is the best value as it comes, but it's absolutely smashing with these strings.

I love it...it’s so pretty. I love the gloss finish. It sounds very nice and the quality is great! I’ve had it approximately two weeks now and I’m really glad I purchased this one! It holds a tune better now and yes, I would recommend this one. However, I think I’m going to have a strap button put on it, because I can’t seem to hold it up without it slipping...could be the gloss finish or me! Lol. Can’t go wrong with this ukulele.

I bought one of these to help me get out of a rut with my music 4 years ago after being so attracted to it in a local store that I couldn't put it down
Well, 4 years later, it still is just as attractive and has gotten me out of yet another rut. The solid spruce top is already starting to have some aged qualities to it, and has maintained its shape perfectly.
This isn't just a fun ukulele to start on, the sound is performance-quality and you will enjoy many, many years watching it age more gracefully than you ever will

I couldn't be happier with my new (and first) ukulele. It's beautiful and has a great tone. I'm finding it difficult to learn to play at my age! 70. Practice and time and calluses! This is a fun, new hobby for me.
