This is my new favorite acoustic electric ukulele. It sounds so clean and the wood looks beautiful. The built in EQ makes it easy to adjust levels and make it sound just the way I like.

I'm still a beginner on the ukulele. I originally bought a soprano size but soon realized I should have went with at least a tenor. I didn't want to break the bank on another new ukulele and then saw the Teak Tri-Top. For the money it can't be beat, especially with the built in tuner and pre-amp. I also like the cut-away design. My only suggestion is to offer it with the option to have it strung out of the box with a low G.

This is a good example of what Kala does really well: surpasses your expectations on a seemingly simple instrument. Every time I pick this guy up, it's in tune. I'm always surprised by the projection. I kind of wish it didn't have the pickup, but that's just because I don't use them and I imagine that I'm paying extra for it.
